Purchase, cancellation and refund terms
- Payment is handled by Stripe; a license key is issued after purchase.
- Because this is software, returns and refunds are not available after purchase, except where the law requires and in the case of Lifetime discontinuation (Terms, section 7).
- Pro monthly/yearly plans can be cancelled: no further charges, and use continues to the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime is a lifetime license, valid for all versions as long as the provider continues developing VDLGo. If the product is discontinued, purchased features keep working, and a pro-rata refund applies if that happens within 12 months of purchase (Terms, section 7).
- Use is limited to videos you own or are allowed to save.

Should I choose Pro or Lifetime?
The features are the same; the differences are how you pay and the number of devices (Pro 3 / Lifetime 5). Pro monthly is ¥250 every month and Pro yearly is ¥2,980 every year (about ¥248 per month), both renewing automatically and cancellable any time. Lifetime is a single ¥5,980 payment with no renewal fees. Total paid for reference (yen): monthly ¥3,000 after 12 months and ¥6,000 after 24; yearly ¥5,960 after 2 years and ¥8,940 after 3; Lifetime ¥5,980 once. Please choose according to how long you will use it and how many devices you need.
How do I cancel?
Pro monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled through the Stripe customer portal or by email to info@vdlgo.com. After cancelling there are no further charges, and use continues to the end of the paid period. Lifetime is a one-time payment with no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund?
Because this is software, returns and refunds are not available after purchase, except where the law requires and in the case of Lifetime discontinuation (a pro-rata refund if it ends within 12 months of purchase; Terms, section 7). In regions such as the EU and the UK where consumers have statutory withdrawal rights, the law applies.
